2.1 What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user’s device. The lamarmarmi.com website uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage) in accordance with the Guidelines of the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Italian Data Protection Authority) of 10 June 2021 and art. 122 of D.Lgs. 196/2003.
2.2 Banner and consent
On the first visit, a banner allows users to accept, reject or customise non-technical cookies. Closing the banner with the “X” counts as a rejection. Until the user makes a choice, only technical cookies are used. Consent is stored for 6 months; after this period, or in the event of substantial changes, the banner is shown again. The choice can be changed at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

Google Analytics 4 is configured with IP address anonymisation and without data sharing with other Google services (Google Signals disabled). The site implements Google Consent Mode v2: without consent, no identifiers are sent to Google.
2.4 Third-party cookies and external links
Third-party content (maps, videos, social media) is not loaded automatically: users reach it through external links, to which the privacy notices of the respective providers apply: Google (policies.google.com/privacy), Meta for Facebook and Instagram (facebook.com/privacy/policy).
2.5 Management through the browser
Users can also block or delete cookies from their browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Disabling technical cookies may affect the operation of the site.
