Giallo Siena comes from Tuscany and is one of the rarest marbles quarried in Italy. It has a warm yellow ground, from straw to ochre, crossed by darker veining.

Available quantities are limited, so it is often used for bands, borders and inlays next to lighter marbles. In our work we have paired it with Bianco Carrara in a curved staircase and in the floor that goes with it, with curved bands cut to measure.
